KINSHASA, 18-19TH OCTOBER 2019
The workshop of AMENET at the Protestant University of Congo (UPC) has been hold on 18-19th of October. It has led on two lectures animated by Prof. Stany Wvima of the Evangelic University in Africa on the integration of agriculture in South Kivu and by Prof. Alain Kikandi of the Free University of Countries of Great Lakes around poverty in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) from 2005 to 2012.
The two speakers stressed the need for the DRC to develop its agriculture that is based on mostly poor rural people in order to take advantage of regional integration. The dean of the faculty, some teachers and under-graduated and post-graduate students made up the attendance.
