AMENET participates in a Meeting on Study and Research Opportunities in Africa organized by the Vice-Rector’s Office for International Affairs at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM).
It was an information activity on:
• The Jean Monnet Network AMENET,
• The recently approved Plan Africa and
• The frameworks in which the UAM will have opportunities to develop new projects and new interaction activities with African institutions.
The meeting was a specific opportunity to meet people interested in Africa and networking.
Carmela Callés, UAM´s Vice-rector for International Affairs, chaired the meeting. José Mª Mella, as AMENET coordinator, together with Matilde Delgado, Director of the UAM’s Office of International Affairs, participated in the meeting.
The event had a large participation from Tropical Medicine Dep, Physics Dep, Anthropology Dep, Language Dep, Ecology dep, Political Science Dep and Sociology Dep.
