Knowledge on the ground of Africa. AMENET facilitates students visit to tangier, Morocco
Prof. José María Mella and the students of the Master’s Degree in Economic Development and Public Policies, within the framework of AMENET and the close relationship between the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and the Université Abdelmalek Essaadi of Tangier, have found a group of students from the latter university to exchange opinions, have visited a good number of companies from different sectors and were received by the economic authorities of the city and its surroundings.
The activities consisted of visits to companies, associations, and centers of economic interest, distributed throughout the week of March 25 to 29, 2019. The students visited the companies Indo (Lenses), Renault (Automotive), Parthenon (Clothing), and Antolín (Automotive Parts), among others. They have visited the Darna Women’s Association, and the Tangier Chamber of Commerce.
The assessment of the students was very positive, as it allowed them to complete the classroom teachings with the learning of practical issues of the business world and its environment.
